Today Would Be Day Four....

However, I quit! Yes that's right, I quit. And it wasn't just today, I actually quit on day one in the evening.

I felt like I was floating on a cloud and everything was just slow motion, almost like I wasn't even part of this world. However the part that did it for me was that I was really irritated and by the time I got home I found it very difficult to spend time playing with Tyler the way I felt, that's when I knew that this is not the right time in my life to be doing something like this.

I will also have you know that my co-worker that was doing this with me didn't last to long either, she made it to day two then she ate dinner :).

This is not an easy thing to do at all, the feeling your body gets is awful. I'm sure it would have gotten better as time went on however after day one it was not worth it. Plus after one day, I feel great (I like the way I feel now a lot better)

Today is day one of the Master Cleanse!!!!

Today is day one of the Master Cleanse!!!! I don’t know if any of you have heard of this but I’m basically doing a detoxifying body cleanse for at least 10 days. Right now my only goal is to make it until tomorrow, this morning I attempted the salt water drink which is 32oz of water and 2 teaspoons of sea salt. I was impressed with the fact that I made it to 16oz, but then I had to stop and I am not sure how I am going to handle that everyday for 10 whole days.

So basically for the next ten days this is what my diet will contain: at night I drink a laxative herb tea (I bought "smooth move"), then the next morning I will desperately try and choke down 320z of salt water which helps produce the "elimination" process. Then all day long I drink this lemonade that I have made (per the book), this lemonade contains water, fresh squeezed lemon juice, grade B maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. This tastes like a spicy lemonade which we have now nicknamed "Mexican Lemonade".

So far day one is going pretty good, I'm not hungry just thirsty. Lets see if I make it until tomorrow, lets see how tomorrow goes. Wish me luck!!

New Furniture

So I just wanted to share my new bedroom set with you guys. Before this our bedroom furniture did not match at all and was full of random pieces, now I have this beautiful set:

Isnt it beautiful, we also got a new TV for the bedroom but that is not in this picture, the new one came the day after these pictures but its a lot bigger than this one.......Its a guy thing....I would never understand. Anyway my bedroom is now a great place to come home to, a little furniture can do a lot of good.

I'm Back!!!!

Here I am again, I am starting my blogging once again. I know its been awhile but I feel like I have more time to write now then I used to.

Last time I wrote here I said I would be leaving my job and was off to Hawaii, well Hawaii was awesome and we had a great time, Tyler just loved the beach and ate so much sand it was coming out for days. :)

We are going to Hawaii again this year about the same time. What I enjoy most about Hawaii as a vacation was that I never felt like we were being dragged around or in a hurry everywhere we went, everyday was calm and relaxing making it the best vacation ever. We stayed in a small town in Maui called Lahiana, which has a main street of about three or four blocks of shops, we walked this main street everyday we were there. We may have been looking at the same thing everyday but that didn’t matter at all, it was so peaceful to walk down this street everyday and I look forward to do the same thing again this year.


In January Tyler turned one years old, we didn’t have a big party for him because Tyler doesn’t really care for crowds much anyway. However he did get his first cake and boy was that a mistake, the kid was up all night wired up on sugar.

On his actual birthday I brought home some cupcakes so that he could get his first taste as you can see, then on the Saturday following his birthday I invited my mom and brother over. We were celebrating Dean’s birthday as well since his is only two days after Tyler’s, the only bad part about all that is that Dean end up with a ‘Bob the Builder’ theme. Its so hard to believe that Tyler is already a year old, hard to believe that in 17 years he will be an adult, I already feel like its going so fast.


Now for me…On to my job…As I said before I left my old job back in October and was offered a new one pretty quickly, before I even left to Hawaii. I now work for a company called “Intacct” better explained as Internet Accounting, Intacct is an accounting software used solely online through your internet browser and what I do here is answer questions for all clients. I truly love my job, I have never enjoyed a job as much as I do this one. I always believe that everything happens for a reason and I believe that was true in this case, I was lucky enough to have this job find me the same day I quit my old job so you might say “it was meant to be”, I feel like it was.

I am still in school and feel like I will be forever , but I know I wont be. I am now only taking one class a quarter, I used to take two but have now came to the understanding that I only truly have time for one. With Tyler in my life I no longer have the ability to juggle work, school, plus my time with him. I will be trying to write more in my blog and apologize to everyone for the time it has taken me to actually write something.
